“Glassons and Gorman are the newest retailers to join the fashion mix at Westfield Marion,” says stylist Damian Porcaro, and this season both stores are celebrating colour with playful prints and vibrant block colours.
Colour is going to be everywhere and the advice from the Westfield stylists is to have fun with what promises to be the look of the season. “Block coloured matching separates are on the must-have list”, says Damian. “Think linen blazers with a matching wide legged pant, a crop and matching skirt, or even a shirt and matching shorts. These items also work double duty when paired back with other pieces in your wardrobe.”
Jamie agrees, saying to go for “anything with a pop of colour” and to slowly introduce the colour into your wardrobe if you’re unsure. Accessories are a great place to start, so begin by adding a colour-blocked bag before working your way up to a complete colour-blocked outfit by experimenting with different combinations.
Not to be forgotten, coloured shoes will also be a big trend. Damian says to go for a baby blue or emerald green heel, paired back with a neutral outfit.
