We all scream for ice cream! Prepare for a delectable summer fiesta as the Glenelg Ice Cream Festival returns to Jetty Road. Check out the Ice Cream Village (sounds like pure bliss!), featuring frozen delights from Barossa Valley Ice Cream Company and St Louis. Plus, there’ll be ice cream-themed crafts, a silent disco, an ice cream scavenger hunt, as well as face painting and even hair-braiding!

Semaphore Greek Festival | January 12–14 | The Esplanade, Semaphore Foreshore
Soak in the Mediterranean culture, cuisine and traditions of Greece, and even learn a Greek dance or two from local Greek-Australian talents. Driven by the dedication of volunteers, Semaphore Greek Festival operates on a non-profit basis, with all proceeds directed toward supporting the Port Adelaide Greek Orthodox Community. We’re already lining up for the Loukoumades! There were 40,000 of these soft bite-sized treats served at last year’s festival!
SANTOS TOUR DOWN UNDER | January 12–21 | Across South Australia
The Santos Tour Down Under races back into Adelaide as the world’s top cycling teams and riders don the Lycra for the southern hemisphere’s most prominent cycling race. Spanning 10 days, this spectacle draws male and female UCI World Tour professional cycling teams to compete along the streets of Adelaide and regional South Australia. Post-race, get amongst the street celebrations and live music.
