Muscle Sculpting Treatment To Try

If you’re struggling to tone your tummy, arms or legs, despite endless gym sessions, this revolutionary muscle sculpting treatment might be for you. The new treatment trumps other body sculpting systems, allowing you to work multiple areas in one session. Genius. Dr Rahma Targett from Advanced Cosmetic Medicine explains.

What is truSculpt flex?

truSculpt® flex is a personalised muscle sculpting treatment that adjusts to your fitness level, shape, and goals to strengthen, firm and tone your muscles. It offers three treatment modes, creates multiple types of muscle contractions and can treat up to eight areas per session.

Who is it for?

As it has three treatment modes and can be adjusted to suit different fitness levels, most people can benefit from a truSculpt® flex treatment. During your consultation, your clinician will discuss with you if you are a candidate, based on your health and medical history.

How is truSculpt® flex different to other body contouring systems?

Other body sculpting systems use electro-magnetic muscle stimulation, which is indirect and nonspecific to treat a general area – whereas truSculpt® flex uses multi-directional stimulation (MDS) to target specific muscle groups. It has 16 handpieces that can treat eight muscle groups in one session, covering the largest treatment area in the body sculpting industry.

What kind of results can people expect?

Clinical studies have shown an average of 30 percent increase in muscle mass.

How many sessions are needed?

Remarkable results can be achieved with as little as four treatments. Additional treatments may be required to achieve the personalised results you desire.

How long is each session?

truSculpt® flex has two session duration options. Flex classic is 45 minutes and flex+ is 15 minutes.

What sort of maintenance is required?

A monthly maintenance session is suggested to maintain results, but can be personalised depending on individual results and goals.

Does it hurt?

As the treatment begins, patients feel a gentle contraction sensation and as the intensity slowly increases the muscle contraction intensifies. The results are even and consistent and will be challenging but not painful.

Is there any downtime?

truSculpt® flex is non-invasive, requires no recovery time and patients can immediately return to normal activities after the treatment. Post-procedure, patients may notice tingling in the areas treated for up to a few hours and/or slight muscle soreness or tenderness for 24–72 hours.
