More than half a century ago, Italia Ceramics founder Pasquale Vozzo migrated to Australia with a passion for the beauty and craftsmanship of Italian ceramic tiles and natural stone.
In those early days, builders, interior designers, architects and home renovators struggled to access the unique style and quality found in imported Italian tiles, from traditional terracotta to the intricate patterns taking shape in geometric tiles.
After witnessing a gap in the South Australian market, Pasquale laid the foundation for a long future of unmatched style and quality in 1973. Today, the Vozzo family remains at the forefront of importing and supplying on-trend Italian floor and wall tiles and stone to Adelaide’s building industry and home renovators.
Along with Italia Ceramics’ premium display housed at its award-winning Glynde showroom, the family’s quality products are featured proudly across the state, from Adelaide International Airport’s Ice Snow terrazzo quartz stone tile flooring to Her Majesty’s Theatre’s stunning recent refit.
Italia Ceramics sourced and supplied custom laser cut porcelain floor tiles and Italia stone wall tiles for the theatre’s main dress circle foyer, bathrooms and three-multi-level bars.
