East End Cellars at Festival Plaza | July 29 to July 31

They say good things come in threes, and this weekend will have just that: good food, good wine and good times at an East End Cellar pop-up at the Adelaide Festival Centre. Indulge in smoky wood-fired treats, mulled wine and hot chocolate as you kick back in the newly opened Festival Plaza. Part of the Illuminate City Lights has also taken over the area, with 15 giant see-saws glowing at the winter-time festival fun.

VinoDisco | July 29

VinoDisco is back, taking over Chateau Apollo for the ultimate after-work drinks this Friday, July 29. Enjoy food, wine and disco delights as you move between wine, beer and spirit stalls and indulge in free tastings between 6pm and 8pm. After 8pm, the Apollo team will be cranking the party tunes, and boozy beverages will be available to purchase from your favourite vendors. Slip into weekend mode and learn from some of SA’s best producers. Tickets cost $32.

Supper Club My Grandma Ben | July 29

Enjoy an intimate evening spoiling yourself on handmade pasta and wine this weekend, with café, bar and workshop space, My Grandma Ben, bringing back their supper club for its sixth instalment. Inspired by the Bologna, feast on tortellini, ragus and other rich winter dishes. Tickets cost $60, with an optional wine pairing option from Comme Ci Comme Ça.

City Lights | until July 31

This weekend is your final chance to squeeze in Illuminate activities before the beloved festival comes to a close. Traverse the CBD and find your favourite laneways, buildings and streetscapes aglow at nightfall, decorated with immersive installations designed by Australian and international artists. Find dangling fairy lights, statues as snow globes, glowing clothes lines, touch-activated pools of light and illuminated see-saws at the free, city-wide program.
