Wines and Good Times at National Wine Centre | Friday 15

Kick off your four-day weekend with a bang by heading down to a sunny Good Friday soiree at the National Wine Centre. The Wines and Good Times event is bringing disco beats and booze to the CBD, with the National Wine Centre playing host to an array of dance music DJs. Relax in a premium booth, nibble on tasty bites to eat and sip wine in the sunshine. And, of course, the dance floor will be in full swing. Final release tickets cost $50.

Fringe in the Hills Opening Night | Friday 15 

Caught a case of the post-mad March blues? The Adelaide Hills is continuing the Fringe fun this April, kicking off the regional series this Easter weekend. This April 15, Prancing Pony Brewery will host the opening night festivities alongside the Fringe Festival at the Stirling Library. Settle in for an evening of thrilling performances and indulging in locally made goods to celebrate the next ten days of Fringe in the Hills. Tickets to the opening night party cost $15 with the Fringe in the Hills fun starting at 5pm.

Easter Weekend at Nola | 15-17 

Adelaide’s own speakeasy, Nola, is hosting a long weekend jam-packed with Easter madness. From April 15, the CBD haunt will be slinging pints of chocolate-infused and hot cross bun beer for craft lovers with a secret sweet tooth. Sip on Easter Egg cocktails expertly shaken and stirred by Nola’s bartenders or partake in an Easter tinnie hunt and collect cans from your favourite independent brewers on Saturday afternoon. The Easter-fuelled fun will wrap up on April 17, gifting you Monday’s public holiday to rest and recoup.

Candlelit Knights | Saturday 16 

Relax under the stars in Sinclair Gully this Saturday, with Candlelit Knights returning after a successful stint at last year’s Nature Festival. Indulge in a night of musical magic as live piano and song play among the natural flora and fauna soundscape. Surrounded by a soft candlelight ambience, sip on fine wine with friends in the great outdoors. With the mercury tipped to hit 27 degrees this Saturday, Candlelit Knights is set to be the balmy autumn night we’ve been craving. Tickets cost $25, with the evening beginning at 4pm.

Space Jams Festival | 16-17

The seaside town of Robe will play host to some of SA’s best homegrown music with the return of the Space Jams Festival this Easter long weekend. Live music and dancing are back – and what better way to celebrate than heading to this electric festival this April 16 and 17. Headlining the two-day event will be Timberwolf and Teenage Joans, alongside an array of other local acts. Teaming up with Imperial Measures and Pirate Life Brewing, the two-day event is the perfect excuse to escape to the Limestone Coast for the long weekend.

Easter Sunday Seafood Festival Lunch | Sunday 17 

Indulge in a seafood feast this Easter Sunday at Adelaide’s highest rooftop bar. The Merrymaker, part of Hotel Indigo, is throwing a seafood Sunday soiree to celebrate the long weekend. Shuck oysters and settle in for an afternoon of seafood festival fun. The multi-course lunch is paired with a two-hour drinks package, with some speciality cocktails created for this standalone event. The resident DJ will be soundtracking the afternoon, elevating the Easter festivities the best way we know how. Tickets are priced at $149 per person.

Easter Monday at Hugo Wines | Monday 18 

Live music, food trucks and fantastic wine – Monday doesn’t mean Easter weekend is over – and Hugo Wines is helping to continue the festivities in style. Sprawl out on the lush lawns of the McLaren Flat winery and soak up the autumn sunshine with this fun family-friendly event. Chow down on Southeast Asian street food by Sookii La La, taste tipples of wine at the cellar door tastings, and try your hand at the lawn games on offer. The Easter Monday event is free to attend however bookings are essential.
