Sparkling Red Events

“Sparkling Red Events came to life during COVID-19,” says founder Jayne Porter. “While most gatherings and events stopped during this time, I saw an opportunity to host local boutique markets in niche locations.” Jayne’s consulting service works with private, corporate and community organisations to bring their event to life,
be it a celebration, team building day, wellness retreat – or a local market. It was the Pennington Gardens Market, held adjacent to the Adelaide Oval, that caught the eye of City of Adelaide. “They reached out to me to curate a market in the Melbourne Street precinct,” says Jayne. “After some brainstorming, Meander Market
on Melbourne Street was born!” The bi-annual market has been running since May 2023 and draws over 5000 visitors to each event, with locals and the wider community coming together to support small South Australian businesses.
