With their 2030 Master Plan, St Andrew’s School reaffirms its commitment to excellence through a clear, strategic path forward for their students

Proudly setting the benchmark as a co-educational, independent school of the world, St Andrew’s remains focused on unearthing and nurturing children’s greatness as they grow toward individual and collective success. With their ambitious and future-focused Master Plan, St Andrew’s is paving the way forward with spaces built with purpose and intent, ensuring their students are equipped with the tools they need to succeed in a fast-moving world.
For 175 years, St Andrew’s has been educating South Australia’s brightest and bravest minds. Guided by their values, theirs is a benchmark that sees children and their unique strengths and talents supported, whilst forging a new generation of kind, ambitious, and curious leaders. Keeping in line with their impressive vision of the future, their Master Plan will see three capital projects commencing, including the School Hall Refurbishment, the expansion of the Habich Early Learning Centre, and the new Year 6 classroom (Tarrkarri Building).
Thrilled by the number of families wanting to join St Andrew’s, the expansion of their Early Learning Centre will accommodate for more young minds to become a part of their vibrant school community, whilst the expansion in the Tarrkarri Building will ensure sufficient space for their Year 6 students, encouraging inquisitiveness and imagination in what will become light-filled flexible spaces motivating their students to dream big. “Our growing enrolment speaks to the educational experience that students receive in a supportive and caring environment with our expert teachers,”says St Andrew’s Principal Luke Ritchie.“We’re genuinely excited about this growth phase for the school and our enrolment retention, which is a big positive for our community as well.”
At the heart of their campus, the school’s hall is set to undergo significant internal upgrades, continuing its legacy of being a special space that cultivates creativity, connection, and celebration through the many events that the iconic building has hosted throughout the years. “Upgrading the hall is a lovely gesture in our 175th year,” says Luke. “To invest in the space where all of our rite-of-passage moments happen for our staff, students, and community – we’re feeling very grateful.”
As St Andrew’s prepares for the future with their Master Plan projects, these spaces are set to become a reflection of their shared pursuit of excellence; a mutual goal of and commitment toward cultivating a learning environment where every student has the space to thrive and achieve individual greatness.
Confirming their position as a leader in primary school teaching since 1850, St Andrew’s remains steadfast in sustaining an educational environment that sets students up for enriched livelihoods, well-rounded perspectives, and determined minds.
