After more than a decade of trusted and reliable service across Adelaide, aba Plumbing & Gas has now officially expanded and launched as aba TRADES

Founded by Paul Chaina 11 years ago as a one person plumbing business, aba TRADES has experienced remarkable growth and transformation. What began as a sole venture has evolved into a thriving multi-million-dollar operation. 

Now offering plumbing & gas, air conditioning, electrical, roofing, and renovations, their dedicated team of 29 tradespeople proudly services over 300 homes and 100 businesses every month.

With 19 years of experience in the trades industry, 37-year-old owner Paul is excited to officially launch the next chapter of aba TRADES as a South Australian leader in multi-trade solutions.

“When I first started in the trades business, I wanted to do it all straight away. But I quickly learned that success doesn’t happen overnight. It’s about showing up every day, doing the basics well, and
building trust with every customer,” Paul said. “Expanding has always been part of the vision…I started my business on my own, working as a solo plumber for a year and a bit, before building the business and growing it by one or two tradespeople per year, and I’m so proud to now be employing almost 30 tradespeople and a group of expert
professionals in our head office.”

Operating out of their head office in Stepney, aba TRADES has grown its corporate sector from 3 employees to a team of 10 expert staff within 12 months, each bringing extensive experience and helping to drive aba TRADES’ commitment to quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. These include CEO, Ming Ma, Commercial Business Development Manager, Chris Brooks, Digital Marketing Specialist, Mackenzie Hussman, Office Manager, Cheryl Piteo, and Marketing Manager, Adam Connell.

Also located at their head office is a unique purpose-built training facility dedicated to the ongoing training and development of aba TRADES tradespeople and providing a specialised environment
where team members can enhance their skills and knowledge.
