Casablala is a place of many moods – part supper club, part cultural lounge bar, all informed by its worldwide outlook. Nestled on Adelaide’s vibrant Leigh Street, this long-standing institution blends music, food, art, and atmosphere seamlessly, framed by warm, moody lighting and touches of Moroccan-inspired design.
Mid-week brings an omakase-style offering: a chef’s selection dining experience served Tuesday to Thursday for $55 per person. The seasonal spread leans global and is wholly shareable, with the offering ever-evolving to best showcase the state’s freshest ingredients. Think herb-spiced beef sliders, Cuban mojo prawn skewers with gremolata or a chicken taco with chilli, sugo and salad. Or, opt for something more hearty – Thursday is also Casablabla’s resident pasta night, where a bowl of seafood linguine, ragu or vegetarian penne with eggplant and zucchini will only set you back $20.
By the weekend, the energy shifts into an elevated evening best spent dancing to the resident DJs. And come Sunday, Casablabla’s Linger Lounge takes over, inviting guests to bid farewell to the weekend in style. There’s even sport on screen, too – a nod to Casablabla’s ability to cater to every taste without compromising its cool.
