Unleash your Creativity at TAFE SA’s Adelaide College of the Arts

For over 20 years, TAFE SA’s Adelaide College of the Arts (AC Arts) has been empowering the next generation of artists, designers, and performers.

Located in the heart of the CBD, this purpose-built institution, which boasts state-of-the-art theatres, studios and fully equipped workshop,  has supported the South Australian arts and culture scene.

With an extensive program range that includes visual arts, dance, theatre, screen and media, costume design, production design, photography, digital media, and technical production, a wide range of creative passions are catered for at AC Arts. Courses are further developed in collaboration with industry professionals, ensuring students graduate with real world knowledge and skills. Whether rehearsing in acting studios, designing sets, or showcasing work in gallery spaces, students gain practical, hands-on experience

A focus on collaboration also helps equip students with the skills they need to succeed in the dynamic world of the arts. Different disciplines work together on projects, mirroring industry practices and building valuable networks. Regular exhibitions and performances provide opportunities to showcase work to the public and industry professionals, offering students invaluable experience. There’s even the chance to be involved in globally-recognised events, such as Adelaide Fringe, via AC Arts’ partnerships with arts organisations; the annual Rip, Drag & Ruminate Fringe showcase by the college’s final-year dance students is a highlight in the festival program.

It comes as little surprise that the college has nurtured some of the most dynamic names in creative fields, including actor Nathan Page and dancer Daniel Jaber.  With its reputation for developing the next names in South Australia’s arts and culture scene, AC Arts is a launchpad for creative careers.
