Celebrate your mum with a Paint & Sip High Tea at one of your favourite shopping destinations, Burnside Village.

A present that gifts quality time is one of the best things to give to those you love. That’s why this Mother’s Day, Burnside Village is hosting a portrait Paint & Sip High Tea for you and the most important person in your life – your mum.

Taking place this Thursday, May 9, the shopping destination will transform its Fashion Mall (the space between Seed Heritage and BOSS) into a buzzing art hub for a Paint & Sip session. Local children’s art studio, Little Picassos, will be taking the class, guiding guests on how to create a personalised portrait of your partner (whether that’s your mum, grandma or another leading lady in your life). No experience is necessary – just some creative flair!

Of course, it wouldn’t be a High Tea without some fabulous food! Burnside Village has teamed up with leading event curators and caterers Out in the Paddock (who are also running a pop-up café, Bottega, by Burnside’s Concierge Desk until May 19) to offer delicious High Tea packs for guests to enjoy.  

Burnside Village recommends wearing bright shades, bold patterns and exciting elements to the Paint & Sip session – anything that can be used to add colourful and unique elements to the portrait.

Sip Champagne, laugh, let loose and celebrate the special bond between you and your leading lady. The Paint & Sip High Tea kicks off at 5:30pm and concludes at 7:30pm. Best of all, because it’s late-night shopping, you and your mum can hit the shops for a bit of retail therapy afterwards, too (make sure to pop past Tommy Hilfiger for 30 percent off womenswear until May 12!).
