A vibrant mix of styling trends is making waves this wedding season. Adelaide’s event styling pros, Interstyle Event Hire, tell us more.
“Decor trends we’re absolutely loving right now include mirrored details and bows, bows, bows – because you can never have too many bows!” says Interstyle Event Hire’s Creative Director, Kyra Zoina.
Interstyle Event Hire is a family affair. Kyra’s parents, Anna and Ange, and brother Zak started the events styling business after Kyra’s 21st birthday celebration created a shared passion for designing unique products and helping people create memorable events.
What sets them apart from the rest is that 99.9 percent of Interstyle Event Hire’s items are handmade by Ange who brings decades of expertise in cabinetry, carving, and woodworking to every piece.
“This not only adds a unique and personal touch to each piece but also allows us to offer exclusive, one-of-a-kind items that set us apart in the industry,” Kyra says.
“One of the driving factors behind starting our own business was the desire to bring our unique style and perspective to the industry.”

The vision is reflected in the name, which pays homage to a previous venture ‘Interstyle Interiors’ owned by Kyra’s parents.
“Their experience running a house presentation and styling business inspired our family to infuse our own creativity into the world of wedding and event design,” Kyra adds.
From hand carved arches and wavy shapes to high quality finishes and intricately designed touches, Kyra says their handmade items contribute to the overall charm and authenticity of the weddings they style.
While arch shapes and playful wavy shapes continue to be popular, as well as textured and pillar finishes, the rise of outdoor receptions and cocktail-style weddings are gaining momentum.
