Tell us about how you first got into property and real estate.
I love interior decorating and did a course when I was living in London. After returning to Adelaide in 2007, I had the opportunity to work with one of Adelaide’s leading agents and, having worked in hospitality and the service industry, it felt very natural moving into this role. And so my career began…
The housing market has rapidly changed since 2007. You must have seen a big industry shift during that time.
The biggest shift has been the move to digital methods for selling – this re-emphasises the importance of high-quality marketing.
How influential are platforms like TikTok and Instagram on marketing strategies, and subsequently the success of a sale?
Social media platforms are an additional reach for our clients to have their properties seen. We generate a lot of pre market interest through social media, and I have a lot of active buyers who message me for property updates.
Is this the best way to market and sell a home in today’s market?
Exposure is key! The presentation [of the home] is paramount, as is creating a strong marketing campaign to gain maximum traction to ensure the best price can be achieved.
You’ve placed in REB’s Top 50 Agents in SA in both 2022 and 2023. What would you say are your biggest points of difference?
I don’t over promise and under deliver – I’m a realist and I say it as it is, which clients appreciate. I genuinely care about them, the outcome of their sale, and the service my team provide.


You have an incredible team who works alongside you. How involved are you in the overall home sale process and what are your team’s strengths?
I sure do – I wouldn’t be able to transact the number of sales and provide the level of service without my team! Team manager Alex Green is an organisational queen and all-round sweetie, while property consultant Todd Penrose is a strong negotiator and a relationship-driven agent. However, I am also a self-diagnosed control freak, therefore I am heavily involved in all the sales campaigns from start to finish.
How important is good communication between homeowners and property consultants in the sale process?
For me, this is huge – for both sellers and buyers. Unfortunately, the real estate industry doesn’t get the best rap, so I try my best to develop trust with everyone I work with.
What do you love the most about your job?
Every day is different and throws different challenges and curve balls. I am a born pleaser; I love it when I help my clients achieve a great price or secure the home they love. Every client and property also comes with their own stories – and I never get tired of hearing them.
