For 14 years, SpaceCraft Joinery has been designing one-of-a-kind kitchens that best reflect their clients’ lifestyles. Here, we look at the leading joinery company and how they have brought some of their stunning projects to life.

The kitchen is the heart of your home. It’s where memories are made, meals are shared and where time is spent with family and friends. So, it only makes sense that you’d want the space to best reflect you.
Since 2008, SpaceCraft Joinery has been creating award-winning kitchens that people want to live their lives in, in the style they’ve always dreamt of. Put simply, they turn your ideas into reality with their well-thought, considered and family-orientated designs.
Led by Nathan and Ellen Wundersitz, SpaceCraft Joinery specialises in creating kitchens that capture clients’ personalities, needs and wants. With more than 25 awards and accolades to their name, the company’s team of designers, installers and cabinetmakers consider every detail of your design – right down to joinery handcrafted in-house.
No two designs are the same, and to SpaceCraft Joinery, each kitchen project is one-of-a-kind – just like you.
Take Anne and Mark’s bungalow in Torrensville. This music-loving family of four wanted a light-filled and functional space that didn’t comprise their fun sense of style. Most importantly, they were after a Scandi-inspired kitchen that encouraged family time and featured their impressive vinyl collection. Equally important was storage space that was out of sight, with push-open cabinetry and spacious draws.

With a blank canvas to build in (the bungalow interior was re-configured during the design process), a splash of tonal pink paint, Tasmanian Oak finishings and a focus on maximising space, SpaceCraft Joinery created a dreamy, pastel-hued kitchen where the young family can bake, entertain and chat as the turntable spins tunes in the background.
But fun colours and functional spaces aren’t the only brief SpaceCraft Joinery can nail. Megan and Lionel’s family of five (plus Floki the dog and Veggie the horse) enlisted SpaceCraft to help with the design and build of their new kitchen when they decided to extend the size of their Mylor property. Here, creating a link between the leafy Adelaide Hills surrounds and the family home was front-of-mind for the SpaceCraft Joinery team, as was the overall flow of the space.

It resulted in an industrial barn-style kitchen with high ceilings, moss-green cabinetry and a spacious Caesarstone kitchen island where the five could meet, eat and connect. Here, the polished concrete floor is softened by creamy biscuit tiles, with warmth arriving from the exposed-brick feature wall and wormy chestnut finishings. Floor-to-ceiling windows mean lots of light is let into the communal space year-round, while hidden appliances result in a clean, smooth look.
Regardless of budget, kitchen size or design style, SpaceCraft Joinery is eager to bring your dream space to life. Visit the SpaceCraft Joinery website and fill out their super-quick questionnaire to kick-start your kitchen journey.
