

South Australia has transformed into a massive foodie metropolis with the return of Tasting Australia. Running until May 8, be prepared to eat, drink and play your way through South Australia as the beloved annual event stretches across the state and brings the best out of our regions.
It’s no secret South Australia is home to some of the best produce in the country. Alongside some incredible culinary talent and great wine, punters know they are in for a treat when dining in SA. Tasting Australia shines a light on the rich and diverse flavours found in the state’s landscape, packaging them into incredible bite-sized events, long lunches and masterclasses to enjoy.
This year’s Tasting Australia theme is curiosity, curating an imaginative program that will tickle your tastebuds. Scratch your inquisitive itch by learning the stories behind some of the best culinary talents, like Kane Pollard and Jake Kellie, and how their tales transpire in the kitchen. The free Storyteller Series is held at the Tarntanyangga/Victoria Square Tasting Australia hub, alongside an array of food vendors.
Tasting Australia offers a chance for South Australians to taste the magic made when the state’s best producers team up with renowned interstate talent. Melbourne eatery, Chin Chin, is popping over the border for a weekend filled with their Asian-fusion creations in collaboration with Yalumba Wines. The Barossa-based vineyard will transform into a pop-up version of the famed restaurant and their Go Go bar between May 6 and May 8.
Presented by RAA Travel, Tasting Australia encourages South Australians to get out and explore the diverse flavours of their backyard this season.
